GreenSwitch Products & Components GreenSwitch™ uses simple wireless technology to control energy usage in the home or office. With the convenient flick of one switch, the GreenSwitch Master Switch sends a protected radio frequency to all GreenSwitch components, cutting power to designated lights and outlets and setting climate control to economy mode. Turning the switch back “on” returns the system to fully operational. GreenSwitch eliminates the drain of unused electricity caused by unattended climate control, forgotten lights and “phantom power”—saving hundreds of dollars on electricity bills and greatly reducing environmental impact. GreenSwitch is easy to install as all components can be retrofitted into existing electrical systems. The GreenSwitch system is completely customizable, allowing the user to designate which electronics and appliances are affected as well as custom program their heating and cooling systems. ALL COMPONENTS ARE AVAILABLE IN WHITE OR IVORY GreenSwitch™ Master Switch · GreenSwitch Master Switch controls all components in a zone. A zone can be large enough to encompass a house and its outbuildings or as small as an office cubicle. · A zone is designed based on usage. An area devoted to day-use may be controlled by one Master Switch while the rooms for the night shift, or a home office used late into the night, may be controlled by another Master Switch. · Signal range is 300ft unobstructed and 150ft through walls. · Components can act as relays for the GreenSwitch™ signal, extending the range infinitely. GreenSwitch™ Programmable Thermostat · When the GreenSwitch system is off, the Thermostat will automatically reset to an economy mode set by occupant. · The GreenSwitch Thermostat can be programmed to turn on when the system is in “off” mode, allowing, for example, a home or office to be warmed before the occupant arrives. · Multiple GreenSwitch Thermostats can be controlled by one Master Switch and each can have their own unique settings. GreenSwitch™ Receiver Switches · GreenSwitch Receiver Switches come in Standard, Dimmer and Three-Way options and are available in Decor or Toggle styles. · The GreenSwitch system uses either Always On (AO) or Always Enabled (AE). · GreenSwitch turns an AO Switch on and off. These switches are perfect for security lights or lights designed to create an ambient setting. They can also be operated manually. · GreenSwitch turns an AE Switch off. The light remains off until manually turned back on. These are perfect for lights that are often accidentally left on, such as in storage spaces or basements. These lights can always be turned on manually, even when the GreenSwitch system is in “off” mode. GreenSwitch™ Outlets · Use GreenSwitch Outlets everywhere that electronics are drawing Phantom Power. · Single Control Outlets have both plugs controlled by the GreenSwitch Master Switch. · Dual-Control Outlets allow GreenSwitch to control one of the two plug receptacles– for example; GreenSwitch can turn off a computer while keeping the fax in the same outlet on.
